Evgeny (Eugene) Belashchenko - Founder and Editor: |
Evgeny (Eugene) Belashchenko founded RussianProspects.com in 2001 with the aim of providing the best possible coverage of the Russian based NHL drafted and NHL draft eligible prospects. Over the past few years the website recognized as the top Russian hockey information source by FoxSports, Rogers (Canada), and NHL.com. Eugene has been instrumental to the RP’s growth and expansion, developing the website’s marketing and branding strategies. Eugene has also been published in various media outlets including Slam! Hockey, Sportsnet TV, McKeen's Hockey, Hockey's Future. and Russian Ves Hokkej (All About Hockey) newspaper. He has also provided expert opinion on venues such as XM Radio Hockey Talk and NHL.com duringmajor international hockey events. Evgeny continues to work closely with the RussianProspects team in the chief editor capacity. Currently, he is a 2008 MBA candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School. |

Sergei Schweitzer - Editor and Translator: |
Sergei Chveitser provides editorial, and translation assistance to RussianProspects.com.
Sergei was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Canada in 1997. He now resides
in Maple, a town near Toronto, Ontario. He currently attends the Humber
College where he is majoring in Business Marketing. Sergei's interests
other than hockey include soccer, photography and graphic design (samples).
Additionally, he has designed wallpapers and newspaper ads for a professional
indoor football team in Miami and more recently for the CSKA Red Army (Moscow)
hockey team fanclub. |
