Adgurs Dzhugelia was born in the Abkhazia part of the former Soviet republic of Georgia. He moved to Moscow in the early 90s during the civil war this took over the part of the world, and also took his father’s life. The young player is a cousin of another 2004 NHL Entry prospect Enver Lisin and his hockey career followed the path of Lisin’s example, who started to skate a couple years prior to Dzhugelia. Dzhugelia started his career in Khimik’s farm system, moving on to CSKA.
