11/25/2008 Roman Voloshenko (Minnesota Wild) traded to HC Tver for a goalie

Continental Hockey League (KHL) -  Roman Voloshenko (Minnesota Wild) was traded today by HC Dynamo to HC Tver for goalie Mikhail Biryukov . Biryukov had a strong season last year, but struggled to meet the same expectations and deliver a stable performance this year around. Roman Voloshenko (Minnesota Wild) has not stood out much either and has also struggled to find himself since returning from North America. For Voloshenko this could be a fresh start, while for Biryukov this is a demotion back to the backup job.
