09/26/2009 09/23: Spartak Moscow downs Lokomotiv Yaroslavl

Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) -  Wednesday night Spartak Moscow faced KHL Gagarin Cup 08-09 runners-up of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl as usual in their home arena “Sokolniki”. The visiting team’s net have been defended by Sergei Gaiduchenko (Florida Panthers) (Florida Panthers) as their starting goalie Georgi Gelashvili is out with a hand injury. 05/21/2009 Sergei Gaiduchenko (Florida Panthers) back to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl

Continental Hockey League (KHL) -  19-years old Sergei Gaiduchenko (Florida Panthers) decided to remain in Yaroslavl for the next season as he prolonged his deal with KHL runners-up of Lokomotiv. The details of the new contract haven't been released. Nowadays he might become Lokomotiv's back up goalie since veteran Sergei Zvyagin left the team as his contract run out on April 30th. READ MORE
12/19/2008 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge Game 6 report - Russia loses to WHL Selects

U20 ADT Can-Rus Challenge -  After the ugly performance in the fifth game, team Russia has to try to save the honor in the sixth and last match of the series. Nemchinov's unique change sees the return of Alexander Pechursky (Pittsburgh Penguins) between the pipes, replacing Sergei Gaiduchenko (Florida Panthers), who though played very well throughout all the series. Pechursky is given another chance after game 3's bad performance. The WHL selects will play without highly touted prospect Evander Kane, replaced by Dustin Cameron.
