12/25/2009 Sergei Andronov (St. Louis Blues) moves to Moscow, signs with CSKA

Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) -  20 years old Sergei Andronov (St. Louis Blues) moves from Lada Togliatti to CSKA Moscow. The trade happened once again because of Lada's perennial financial troubles. CSKA head coach Sergei Nemchinov declared that Andronov "is an excellent forward, I've enjoyed working with him at last year's WJC".
08/10/2009 Sergei Shirokov (Vancouver Canucks): I leave for the NHL with a clean conscience

National Hockey League (NHL) -  Canuck's newcomer Sergei Shirokov (Vancouver Canucks) released some words to Soviet Sports:

I'm leaving for the NHL with a clean conscience, I always dreamed to play in the world's strongest league. There are no resentments with CSKA, before the session I had a talk with head coach Sergei Nemchinov and we understood each other. I will soon leave to take part to Vancouver's development camp.
12/15/2008 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge Game 5 - WHL Selects trash Team Russia

U20 ADT Can-Rus Challenge -  Russian coach Sergei Nemchinov has to change lines once again as the OHL guys canít play in these last two games. Because of that the first line is made up of Kagarlitsky, Klyukin and Evgeni Dadonov (Florida Panthers), the second features Dubrovsky, Pavel Chernov and Nikontsev, the third Artem Yarchuk , Komaristy and Vadim Ermolaev, the fourth Mikhail Fisenko and Menshikov, plus a spare from the other lines. The starting goalkeeper remains Sergei Gaiduchenko (Florida Panthers), it seems that Alexander Pechursky (Pittsburgh Penguins) could not get Nemchinovís trust in the unique chance he got.
