Kiril Lyamin's absence from Russia's U18 squad competing at last week's Five Nations tournament turned out to be because of an injury the young defenseman suffered during the training camp. During one of the scrimmages, he bruised a kidney and was forced out of action for a week. He has since recovered and has once again begun to practice with Super League's CSKA Moscow.
