Jersey Description: St. Louis Blues 2003 NHL Entry Draft pick Andrei Pervyshin wore this #6 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl jersey during the 2002-03 season. The young defenseman was not planned to be part of Lokomotiv’s lineup during the 2002-03 season, but his performance with Russia’s junior national team and with Lokomotiv 2 forced Yaroslavl’s management to give him an opportunity. He, along with Konstantin Glazachev impressed during practices. Pervyshin impressed the management the most with the maturity of his play. Physical Description: The jersey shows light wear. It is size 52, or XXL. There is a stick mark on the right sleeve. There are a couple of other marks. The wear was light because this was Pervyshin’s rookie season, and he got only marginal ice time on Lokomotiv’s fourth defensive pairing. The jersey has a sewed on name plate, which is not common for Lokomotiv jerseys for the 2002-03 season. This only occurred on jerseys of players who were added to the lineup after the jersey order was placed, as was the case with Pervyshin.
