Jersey Description: Ilya Bryzgalov (Anaheim Mighty Ducks) wore this jersey during the 2000 World Championships held in St. Petersburg. He was the starting goalie for the Russian National team at only the age of 20. He convinced Russia's greats such as Tretiak and Yakushin that he was the guy to hold that position and held it well despite Russia's lack of success. Please read Ilya's interviews to find out his opinions regarding the WC2000. The home jersey is the only jersey out there as the away jerseys were kept by the players. The jersey is manufactured by Nike. The jersey comes with a certificate of authenticity from Diversified International attesting that it was worn by Ilya Bryzgalov during the 2000 World Championships while with Team Russia. If you'd like to learn more about Ilya, please visit his profile.

The jersey shows good wear. There are several stick and puck marks throughout the jersey. There aren't any real rips. You can see some goalpost paint on one of the elbows. There is a bar code ironed on the bottom of the jersey inside the hem. Directly on the other side the hem from the bar code the IIHF patch is sewed on. The letters of the name were individually sewed onto the nameplate and then the nameplate was sewed onto the jersey. The numbers on the back and the sleeves of the jersey were also sewed on. The Sibir Aluminum patches on both sleeves of the jerseys are sewed on. The Russian Hockey Federation symbol and Russia on the front of the jersey were all screened onto it. This jersey will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
